Common questions
What is Directional, not authoritative?
The implied rate tells you which way the next official rate is heading and roughly how far — useful for timing decisions, but never the rate you book at. Always confirm the live DMO notice when transacting.
What is Implied PWLB rate?
A live estimate of where today's PWLB rate would set if it were struck right now — the last official rate plus the move in gilt yields since. Continuous, but directional: confirm the official notice before transacting.
What is Live tip?
The pulsing red dot at the end of the orange line on the chart — the latest implied rate, updating as new gilt prices arrive (about once a minute during market hours).
What is PWLB reset?
A new official PWLB rate notice. Two per working day, around 09:30 and 12:30 London time. Each one freezes the rate until the next.
